Unable to contact Sykes waited 40 minutes on the phone and ended the call nobody ... Unable to contact Sykes waited 40 minutes on the phone and ended the call nobody answered Tried on line but they didnt understand that I wanted to talk about earlier check in Eventually I sorted it out with the agent who was very helpful The accommodation was excellent and we had a fantastic time I wouldnt bother trying to book with Sykes again
Lovely property, ideal for family groups. Although very spacious, house was warm and cosy. Plenty of beds & bathrooms which made accommodating mixed aged group easy. High chairs and stair gates were provided. All equipment and furnishings were of an excellent standard. Weather was poor so games room a godsend. A lovely part of the country and within easy reach of many activities. Crocodiles of the world & Fairyfarm were hits with under 10s.

Morgans Farmhouse is a lovely place to stay. Both lounges are very comfortable with cosy woodburning stoves. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Particularly helpful was the Welcome Pack of food to get us started. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to cater for our large family group. We weren't able to take advantage of the outdoor space due to the time of year and wet weather but we may well return in the Spring or Summer if possible.

The location and overall comfort are excellent which ensured a very successful Christmas for all the family party of eleven. The younger members making full use of the Games room and the elders relaxing in the sitting room and snug. No overcrowding here!! If one wanted to be picky, my wife suggests a dust pan and brush and a hand whisk would compliment an otherwise fully equipped household. All in all, as my favourite author would have said, We had the Best of Times, thank you.

A lovely property, which was perfect for our family Christmas meetup.

Beautiful place to stay. Fully equipped with everything you need for a home from home stay. The farmhouse is beautiful inside and the grounds are well maintained. The added bonus of a games room and swingsslide in the garden means there is something for everyone. The photos on the website dont really do this house justice. Will definitely book again

The best we have stayed in so far. My friends and get together twice a year and there are 12 of us and a dog. It was spacious and was well appointed with everything you could need for everyone. Although we didn't have any children with us I could fully appreciate that it would also be a great place for the smaller members of a family. There was a wonderful games room, separate the to house and it was used by us to play pool, good fun and also very spacious too. The accommodation of bedrooms was substantial and there were plenty of on suites and a huge family bathroom. However, I do have some recommendations though as the attic rooms although lovely could have used more places to hang towels or a towel rail in the bedrooms or a couple of hooks as somewhere extra on doors or walls. Could I also recommend that the single beds could be changed to a double beds that can be separated if necessary. But apart from those couple of very small issues all of us thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the large kitchen and a table we could all sit around and the furbishing was wonderful. We are planning our next visit for next year.
What a wonderful place! Perfect for visits to Blenheim, Oxford, Kelmscott and the pretty villages around this area. There's are beautiful walks along the Windrush river and the Bus and Motor museums are both nearby for Petrol Heads. The house is brilliant for 10 people, with plentiful bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen and two comfortable sitting rooms. Any issues we had lack of tea towels and oven glove were minor and quickly sorted. A fabulous week.
This was the perfect retreat for our celebrations. The farmhouse was immaculate and the facilities perfect. There were 14 of us and there was more than enough space. The kitchen was great and accommodated all of us, and the sports room was great with darts, pool and table football as well as a brilliant jukebox. The setting was picturesque and the grounds well maintained. I would thoroughly recommend this property. Also, as an aside, there is a local chef who came to cook us a special meal and it was delicious. His business was called Tailor Made Top Nosh.
Lovely house in spacious grounds. Play slide and games room were well used by the family. A lovely holiday was had by all.
Exceptional stay! We were a group of six authors on a writing retreat, and this house was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for both quiet, individual writing time and relaxed group gatherings. The house itself is stunningbeautifully maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a layout that perfectly suited our needs. The location is peaceful and ideal for creativity. A minor issue with one of the showers was handled immediately and efficiently. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stayhighly recommended and worth every penny.
Fantastic home for a weekend away with friends and would have loved to stay longer. Excellent facilities and surpassed expectation. Games room one of the best and everything in great condition.

Very beautiful place to stay. Stunning views. Very spacious interior with two lounges, large kitchen, and separate games room. Ideal for large families with different age groups. The owner has carefully thought of every modern detail to provide an enjoyable stay. Would love to go back some time.
A really beautiful house that provided stunningl accommodation for a surprise 80th birthday for my mum. The Games room was really appreciate by young and older alike. Thank you!
Stunning character home providing ample of accommodation for everyone. Set in a rural location, but only a short journey to local amenities. Our highlights were the games room, which kept the teenagers, and competitive folks amongst us entertained with the pool table, darts and football table. It was a perfect place to host a family reunion and would love to return if the opportunity arises.
This is the second time we booked this house and absolutely loved it. The games room saved us from the awful weather that we had all week. What a lovely and comfortable home. I cannot fault anything. We will be back again next year. Thanks
We went low on the accuracy of description as felt the photos didnt do it justice! It was perfect throughout. Things that are worthy of a more detailed mention would be the additional fridgefreezer in utility, downstairs WC, additional conventional oven, juke box, smart tvs, extensive gardens, car port, master ensuite dressing room, decent make of bbq, fridge with water and ice dispenser, extensive cutlery, glasses, plates, cooking utensils, along with naming coffee machine Lavzza. Add a hot tub, a washing line and some more furniture that catches the evening sun and it would be the dream! It would really benefit from a video and aerial shots but then again maybe not so we can keep it as our new secret getaway Many thanks for letting us stay we will definitely aim to return.
We had yet another wonderful stay at Morgan's Farmhouse. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated and the cleanliness and comfort of the house was, as always, exceptional. Our 18 year old Grandson thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and playing darts. The scenery is very relaxing and with the weather being so good, we took advantage of using the patio and bbq. We will definitely be booking again!
Morgans Farmhouse was perfect for us. We were a party of 11 with an age range of 8 75. All the rooms were comfortable and the three lounges meant that we could relax while all doing our own activities. The spacious kitchendiner was ideal for our family meals. In particular the games room was a big favourite with young and old. The grounds were spacious and pretty. The only downside for us was that due to recent heavy rain which continued during the four days we were there, the play area got extremely muddy. Therefore the washing machine and utility room came in handy. We will highly recommend it and hope to return again one day.
Fantastic property, in excellent condition and with beautiful grounds. We had a wonderful stay, and really appreciated all the little touches such as the food that was awaiting our arrival, the early availability of checkin and the childrens cots and highchairs. The stair gates were also a very welcome addition, which we were grateful to have!
We had another wonderful stay at Morgans Farmhouse. The property is very well equipped and the cleanliness of the property is exceptional. The farmhouse is very much a home from home for us. The games room is excellent and we enjoyed quite a few hours in there. The grounds are very well kept and a haven for wildlife. All in all, Morgans Farmhouse is a fabulous place to unwind and relax. We have already made a booking for 2024!

Morgans Farmhouse was immaculately presented, beautifully maintained and equipped to the highest standard. The owners had thought of everything. the drawers and cupboards were full of plates, glasses, cutlery and pans. We were a party of thirteen and took full advantage of the outdoor space the barbecue and wonderful patio area. The children loved the slide and climbing frame. It was the perfect location for our family get together, close to Blenheim and the lovely Cotswolds towns. We would certain consider returning and would thoroughly recommend this property. Morgans Farmhouse sets a very high standard.

Morgans Farmhouse is a really exceptional property which the photos simply do not do justice to. It is incredibly spacious and can easily accommodate large groups our group comprised 7 adults and 4 very young children, and there was room to spare. From a familyfriendliness perspective this property is amazing. Stairgates are permanently attached to every staircase, and there is a wonderful slide and swing set in the garden. The pond presents a hazard, but it is fenced and isn't a problem if children are watched carefully. For older children, there is a super games room as the children in our group are 3, 3, 2 and 0 sadly it was a little too early for them to enjoy! I couldn't recommend this property more and it is one of the few holiday rentals we have been to that we would consider booking again.
Superb property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A couple of minor points there was a small amount of water that came through the ceiling above the dining room table when someone was having a shower in the bedroom immediately above it. We would have found a basic set of weighing scales very useful in the kitchen. We enjoy cooking and really made use of the wonderful kitchen, so appreciate this is a very small point indeed. All in all, we had the most wonderful stay and enjoyed precious family time and celebrating together.
An absolutely fabulous property. There was everything that you could require and more. The property was exceptionally clean. The games room was an added bonus for all of our family of 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children under the age of 3. The added touch of the Christmas tree and decorations really made our celebrations complete. We will certainly be staying at Morgan's Farmhouse again and would like to thank all of the team involved in providing such a special property.
The property is absolutely 1st class. I agree the photos don't do it justice. You are spoilt for the lounge areas to sit. The bedrooms are very spacious with generous ensuites, plus a super bathroom. The kitchen diner is every house wife's dream with an abundance of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. We were here for a special birthday and no one wanted to leave. Superb! Thank you
Sharmani
This listing doesn't do this property justice. It's way better! From the beautiful view across fields of running horses and sheep from the amazing verandah, the swooping driveway, huge gardens with kids facilities, 4 lounges and the gorgeous bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, all the way to the extra finishing touches such as welcome baskets, umbrellas at the door, games room, everything new and clean. Highly recommend. It surpassed all our expectations and made our stay truly memorable. Thank you.
Would love to see a hot tub and a firepit or something similar outside. It would be amazing but it is a really special place already. Loved our time there. Very clean , great place to relax and get away from it all. Would love to know if the pizza oven is going to be working for next time as it looks newly installed.
The house and gardens were amazing had a lovely stay, we all had a lovely time, only issue for us was that I did ask if the garden was all fenced of as we was taking our dog, and not all of the garden is fenced off, and small dogs can get under fencing into pond, so she did escape a few times which was a bit worrying for us. But apart from that we had a lovely time, and one very tired little dog from enjoying the garden so much
Stephen
The accommodation was presented to a very high standard and one small issue with the heating was promptly attended to by a most personable and competent plumber. The property suited all three generations in our party!
Really recommend this comfortable, spacious property. It was ideal for our 3generation family gathering. Particularly well equipped for young children, with not just cots and high chairs but infant sized cutlery, dishes, stair gates and a fire guard too. The provision of an additional fullsize cot was much appreciated. As was the prompt repair when we reported the leaking bath outlet pipe. A previous reviewer mentioned problems with the smoke alarm, but we didn't have any. They also mentioned the need for a nonstick frying pan. There was one, but unfortunately it didn't work on the induction hob. The welcome pack was an unexpected surprise. Perhaps a more detailed inventory of what is availableprovided would be useful in advance. And a warning that if you want to use the oven in the electric range you need to allow a long time for it to heat up obvious really, but we were having too much fun to spend a long time reading the instruction manual.
The farmhouse was absolutely perfect for our stay and everyone had a great time. There was a problem with the heating in the annexe which the owners responded to extremely quickly. A couple of points 1 There really should have been a coffee machine in the kitchen, we brought our own! 2 You really should provide a nonstick frying pan as it was practically impossible to fry eggs 3 The smoke alarm in the kitchen is soooooo sensitive goes off even when you make toast!
Fabulous holiday home. Plenty of space for our 3 families. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back sometime in the future.
It is a fabulous house and grounds. . our party of friends lived every minute of our stay there. We will recommend it to everyone
