Moors Farm, Littledean

Moors farm is a wonderful property. All the facilities are excellent and the views are WONDERFUL. The hot tub was most welcome. Our hosts Donna and Barry could not have been better thank you for a wonderful time. Tom & Wendy.

A delightful and spacious property with everything one could want for three families, including four children, and spectacular views over the Severn Valley. Our host, Donna, could not have been more helpful throughout and went over and above to make the most of our stay.

We had a brilliant three generation family holiday at Moors Farm. The house was very spacious, comfortable and even cool in the astonishing heatwave. The garden had beautiful views and the childrens play equipment and hot tub were very popular with the younger family members. The Forest of Dean proved an excellent location for all of us. Would love to go back.

Our stay at Moors Farm was excellent! Theres nothing we could fault about the property, it was just such a stunning setting surrounded by rural countryside whilst being a short drive to local amenities. The owners were nothing but attentive, giving a tour at the property on arrival and when we needed the hot tub refreshed, they came to do this quickly and very kindly. Kitchen is extremely well equipped as can be said for the rest of the home too. Our group adored our stay and we didnt want to leave! Plenty of space inside and outside to enjoy, the bedrooms also had great storage space. Oh and parking was ideal! Plenty of space for 6 cars. We hope to return one day!

Lovely big house very quiet location and the view was amazing.

We had a wonderful holiday at Moors Farm. In fact, it was so great that we extended it by a few days. The views are spectacular and the kids loved the play area and surrounding sheep. Everyone had a brilliant time splashing andor relaxing in the hot tub and we made use of the fire pit one evening too. The rooms are comfortable and the house is very spacious, enabling the whole family to enjoy time together or choose to go off and do their own thing when needed. There's also plenty to do in the local area. We enjoyed a maize maze, Go Ape, a stickman trail, a Gruffalo trail, some crafts at the Dean Heritage Centre, a full day of canoeing on the Wye and lots of time flying kites and enjoying the games room at the property. We've already talked about booking the same property again when our families have our next reunion.

We had an amazing stay! The host was wonderful always on hand if we needed anything, including help with the hot tub, which was such a brilliant addition and a big hit with everyone. The kids absolutely loved the climbing frameplay area, spending hours on the swings while watching the sheep wander by, such a lovely touch. The property was spotless and had everything we could possibly need for cooking. Plus, its in a great location, with petrol stations, a kebab shop, and a Lidl just a short drive away for any lastminute bits.

Cannot fault anything, amazing! I think our 5 year old Grandson said it all when he said I loved it there, I don't want to leave!

The property catered for all our needs in a beautiful tranquil setting, very homely and clean. I would definitely visit again for a longer break. Our Christmas 2024 was made special with family and friends.

The property is a beautiful huge house, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views are just incredible. We went for a reunion, but It would be perfect for a family get together. The garden is huge and has a lovely play area for children. The owners have thought of everything.

Great location and facilities. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was enjoyed by both the teenagers and the adults. It was lovely sitting in it at night looking up at the stars. The firepit, bbq and pool table were also great additions. The house had everything we needed for a lovely week away.

A lovely house with beautiful views across the estuary. Plenty of room for our two families to stay 9 people, comfortable and with excellent facilities. Well situated for loads of exploring with many attractions within a 20 min drive.

A lovely spacious house in a beautiful setting, perfect for our family gathering. Everything we needed was provided. Our granddaughters loved the swings and the 4 year old is now a hot tub fan! Watching the lambs in the fields was a favourite activity for everyone. A really fantastic place to stay.

This is truely a fantastic property. A beautiful remote location with amazing views, but also within easy reach of places to go and see. The house has everything you could need and is a real home from home with the added bonus of the hot tub for some extra relaxation. We were a party of 6, but even maxed to capacity there would still be plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have some space. Highly recommend.

A great house. There were 8 of us staying 3 generations and the house was perfect for us. It's extremely spacious and with 2 dining rooms, 2 lounges and the pool room, it meant we could have different things going on without disturbing others. The pool table was popular, as was the hot tub. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed several home cooked family meals. All in all, a great house. One tiny quibble we couldn't get the radiator in the twin room to work.

Lovely place, spectacular views and very friendly and helpful host!

What a stunning house in a beautiful location, the views are spectacular. The park at the bottom of the garden gave a safe area for the kids, their adventures there have been brillant. Although the big hot tub was out of action the owners hired a smaller one which did the trick and I spent every morning and night relaxing in there again admiring the views. Great to have the owners next door, they gave top tips for visiting different areas. Loads of kitchen ware to help use put in big family meals. We a enjoyed watching & hearing the sheep on the farm. The house big, lots of room again the kids loved running around play hid and seek. Plenty of throws to keep you warm on an evening as you sit in the large front room. The games room although the cues had no nibs it didn't stop our family pool competition with a jiggle of the snooker pool balls to complete a set for the game. As a family 9 in total this house has been brillant lots of memories has been made.

This is a lovely, spacious house and is extremely well equipped. Indoors the rooms are large and well furnished. Outdoors there is lots of room room for the children to play, including an excellent climbing frameswing and a pool table in the games room. It is in a marvellous setting, where we could sit out and admire the wide, long views over the Severn river, and the countryside beyond, with just the sound of the birds and the sheep in the fields, but it is not in the back of beyond. Littledean, with pubrestaurants, an excellent fish and chip shop and a convenience store are 1.5 miles away, and it is only a 10 minute drive to Cinderford with its Tesco superstore and butchers shop selling lamb from Moor Farm. The attractions of the glorious Forest of Dean are all within a 20 minute drive, with lots of walking and cycling for all abilities plus adventures like Going Ape. It is only 25 minutes to historic Gloucester, which also boasts impressive shopping. There are also walks starting right from the back door. We really appreciate owners Donna and Barry looking after us. Donna met us on arrival and gave us a guided tour. After that, they were always accessible for advice, but were in no way intrusive. All in all we had a fantastic holiday, and would thoroughly recommend Moors Farm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Moors Farm. Such a peaceful spot, and convenient for activities such as climbing, kayaking, cycling, running and walking which the younger members of our party enjoyed. So much space in the house and garden. We loved the magnificent views, and the hot tub. Such welcoming and helpful owners too. A very relaxing week.

We were all very impressed with the property. It is one of the best we have stayed in over the years. The house was very spacious and comfortable and the views over the surrounding countryside were absolutely beautiful.

We had a wonderful few days at Moors Farm with three generations of the family. The little ones loved the playground and the sheep, and we all loved the hot tub with its glorious views over the upper reaches of the Severn Estuary. We will be returning!

Moors Farm was perfect for our family gathering & 60th birthday celebration. The property is spacious very clean & well equipped. There is a very nice playhouse with swing, slide & climbing board which our granddaughter loved to play on. The views are stunning and there is so much to explore in the area. The owner Donna was very welcoming & helpful when we arrived. I highly recommend staying at Moors Farm & we hope to return for another family holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the new year . My grandchildren so enjoyed the house because its so roomy they could go to play in peace away from adults

An excellent property. It was warm,spacious and very well equipped. A very good choice for a Christmas break for our family of three generations. We wanted for nothing and the decorations were delightful TWO Christmas trees! The owners are friendly and most helpful. We really appreciated all the goodies that were left for us. I

The house and grounds are amazing, every need is catered for, for a large group it's perfect, can't wait to go back.

Beautiful farmhouse. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. The hot tub was fab. The only slight negative was that some of the beds weren't that comfortable.

A lovely spacious house. We went as three families with 18, 14, and 9 year old and there were plenty of games , videos etc to keep them occupied. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and bbq. Lots of space in the garden. Beware of the pet lamb though he ate my patio rose the children bought me. We will probably laugh about it for a long time. Donna is a gem very helpful.

Absolutely loved our stay at Moors Farm. The owners were so welcoming. The house was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Countryside views were outstanding and we loved sharing the garden with the sheep. There were plenty of attractions in the surrounding area to keep all three generations happy. Cannot recommend it highly enough, and we hope to visit again soon.

The property was very clean, comfortable, huge, and cosy. Enjoyed the hot tub overlooking green pastures and nice scenery. It was beyond our expectation. We will definitely book this place again.
