Cotswold House Reviews

Wonderfull stay at Cotswold House with friends and family for my 30th Birthday. The team were super helpful in the lead up answering any questions I had and the house was absolutely beautiful, the photos simply don't do it justice! It has everything you need and more! and a brilliant layout so all guests have enough space and privacy, Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back again.
Lovely house, warm and welcoming in a good location. Plenty of room for our party of 10, a generally wellequipped kitchen and comfortable beds.
I booked this for a family gathering for my 70th birthday. We are all adults and I was looking for a unique property. Cotswold House was perfect. Original features beautifully conserved, decor and furnishings setting off this wonderful house in a boutique hotel type of atmosphere. Just the setting for formal dining and party games!

Fabulous house in a great location! Ideal for large groups as so many areas within the house so you never feel on top of each other. Master bedroom really is a bonus as nice and spacious. Has all the equipment needed for cooking too. Games room a great asset for this house especially when the weather isnt too great. We had a fabulous pre Christmas stay with family. Great wine bar and local pubs on your doorstep too!

We had the best New Year at Cotswold House, the house is outstanding in a perfect location where we could walk into the town and enjoy the wonderful food. The house had all the amenities for us and our friends it was clean, warm and had character. We would love to return, it was amazing. Thank you.
A delightful character property in an excellent location. A perfect place for family or friends getting together, plenty of space to spread out and not be on top of each other, refurbished bathrooms are very good. We stayed in December so appreciated the woodburning stoves to add to the atmosphere , the garden is well equipped for summer outdoors. Location is very good for food and drink, strolls and markets, other Cotswolds places a short drive away. For us a perfect enjoyable stay. Highly recommended .
Amazing, beautifully designed property in a fantastic location with parking. Would love to go back sometime in the future.
Generally the cottage was fabulous but it's extremely expensive so there are a couple of downsides I would highlight. The most problematic was the Aga the description did highlight this but we didn't appreciate that you really need training to work this properly. Dinners that we expected to take 12 hours to prepare actually took 4!!! Also we went on an exceptionally hot weekend which was lovely but the fans in the top 2 rooms were inadequate to keep them comfortable. Despite these niggles we still had a lovely weekend and the cottage is beautiful.
We loved our stay at Cotswold House as a group of seven. The house itself is quite lovely, spacious and charmingly decorated. The location was a great base for us to visit nearby villages in the Cotswolds too. Highly recommended.
We have a wonderful stay celebrating dad's 70th birthday, 6 adults and 1 toddler for the week. Have enjoyed the following Daylesford Organic Breakfast and eve Pizza and walk to The Wild Rabbit. Wine Tasting here at the house with Tracy from Cotswold wine Tasting. Private Chef Paul Evans from the Season Kitchen. Cotswold wildlife Park and Gardens. Broadway and walk to the Tower and The Lygon Arms. Burford and Bourton on the Water. Meal at The White Hart.
Just spent a wonderful week in a beautiful home in a stunning area. The house worked so well for us all, especially the luxurious beds as some of our group had travelled thousands of miles. The 2 minute walk into town was an extra bonus. It was so well equipped with everything to hand. The Games Room was extra fun! Thank You Cotswold House for helping us make more special memories.
A stunning property that has the wow factor but still felt like home for the week. Lots of space for larger groups or families to have their own space. Really easy to walk into town to access all amenities and a short drive to so many beautiful Cotswold towns and villages. A million good things to say so please take these next points as constructive feedback .. the lighting in the kitchen snug area is very dark. This is where our grandson spent most time but reading a book was difficult and it just felt too dark. Same in the games room more light needed. Also the Wifi was really bad. We basically only ever had it in the living room. We saw the booster in the utility upstairs and saw it wasnt connected but tried lots and it wouldnt work. The old WiFi password is still in the kitchen which needs removing. I think this particular issue really needs resolving as some of our party had to work and could only do this in the living room. But the house really is special and we had a fantastic time. The response from the office about a couple of small issues was also outstanding. Thank you
